How long do the sessions last?
Private lessons run 45 minutes. Buddy lessons and small groups are 1 hour.
All instruction takes place at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa unless other arrangements are made by you personally. Otter Creek is a modern championship layout with top quality practice areas. We feature a double-ended range, a short game area with a dedicated pitching/chipping green, two putting greens and a sand bunker.
Where does the instruction take place?
Just yourself and your clubs. Everything else is provided including video, skill-specific training aids and ball tracking technology to be used as needed to enhance your improvement. If you're a newer golfer and don't have your own clubs yet let me know. A rental set will be provided free of charge.
What should I bring?
I appreciate people's time commitments. We're all busy. If you don't have time to practice I get it. This is why thoughtful, concise, on-point communication on my part is so important. If you can't practice ... you need to leave the lesson with a crystal clear mental picture of what to do. That said, practice helps. I'll give you productive training ideas so you can use your time best.
Am I going to have to practice a lot to get better?
